Out West Sled Fest is the ultimate meeting of adventure and community from carving fresh powder on Island Park’s trails to nights packed with music, laughter and friends.

Island Park is one of the nation’s premiere destinations for snowmobiling, offering miles of scenic trails, fantastic views, and opportunities for all levels of riders. If you’re an experienced snowmobiler or a first time rider, Island Park provides options for everyone with one of the most scenic  environments in the Rockies.  With more than 600 miles of maintained trails winding through the wilderness, Island Park’s snowmobiling is a must-do (over and over) for riders every season.

The welcome social kicks off in the Caldera’s hot spot, the Shotgun Bar on Thursday with Show & Shine following on Friday and Free Rides on Saturday. Live music and awards ceremony are on Friday at Sawtelle Mountain Resort. Saturday is Casino Night. Thousands have been raised through the events and auctions for avalanche awareness. 

Scenic and less aggressive rides are available and include a Friday run to Mesa Falls and ride to Two Top on Saturday.

Boondock Nation—the nucleus of snowmobiling—said “People came from all over from Out West Sled Fest and the event is a total blast!”
