Weather in the Yellowstone Teton Territory can change very quickly, often within hours.
Due to its high elevation and location in the northern Rockies, conditions can shift from sunny skies to snow or rain at short notice, especially in winter and spring. The first step in preparation is knowing where to look.

On the Yellowstone Teton Territory, There are ten webcams showing views throughout Yellowstone National Park—one of which streams live video of Old Faithful and the Upper Geyser Basin. Latest geyser eruption predictions are posted for Old Faithful, Castle, Grand, Daisy, Riverside and Great Fountain.Â
Take in a bird’s→ eye view of Fred’s Mountain and the summit at Grand Targhee Resort—it’s one of the most striking views of the Grand Teton around.Â
A visit to 511.idaho.gov→ will provide live shots of highway conditions across SH 33 and US 26, and I15, the major arteries for navigating the Yellowstone Teton Territory.Â
