Santa drives a UTV in Idaho

With all the backcountry terrain in the Yellowstone Teton Territory, the man in red needs to make sure he gets where he’s going.

Friday, December 19th marks the third annual UTV Holiday Light Parade in Idaho Falls. This rugged rising holiday favorite features 400 brightly decorated UTVs gliding through a winter wonderland along the Riverwalk in downtown.

The parade kicks off at 7 p.m. starting at Freeman Park and will follow a new scenic route along the east side of the Idaho Falls Riverwalk to the Pancheri bridge and back up the west side of the Idaho Falls Riverwalk to Freeman Park.

This year’s celebration will feature light on the ground and in the sky with  two 10-minute fireworks shows presented by Stones Kia.
