January 16-19, the Boondock Nation will gather at the Sawtelle Mountain Resort for gear, gourmet grub and good times. Snowmobiling tours and demos will run all weekend long. At night don your best apres to dance the night away or try your luck at the annual casino night. Welcome social begins at the Shotgun Bar on Thursday and the fest will conclude Saturday night. Highlights include avalanche awareness and swank prizes like a Deviant Ink sled wrap, Klim mountain suit, free stay at Sawtelle Mountain Resort and ride with the Boondock Nation. If you find yourself unable to join for the weekend or discover your inner gearhead, the resort runs a sled and bed package with a discount up to 20%!

From January 20-25, the 13th Annual Driggs Snowscapes will overtake downtown Driggs with art, spunk and a lot of carving tools for a weeklong celebration of snow and public art. The Downtown Driggs Association sponsored event features sculpting teams of professional artists from Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. Over the course of a week, the Driggs City Center transforms into a larger than life winter spectacle of ingenuity and playfulness as the snow sculptors carve at all hours to complete the task. For the third year, Grand Targhee Resort will also host a satellite sculpture. The icey art exhibition culminates with a FREE Driggs Snowscapes Community Block Party Saturday, January 25th from 10am-4pm at Driggs Plaza.
