A Grand View on Teton Valley

There’s nothing more grand than Teton Valley (other than the actual Grand Teton)
Once an unknown gem for a few extreme recreation seekers, this mountain-agricultural community now has a bustling theater and art scene, and a thriving foodie culture in addition to its unmatched access to Grand Teton National Park, the Big Hole and Snake River mountains, Teton Valley is all in one destination.

Come winter, nordic skiing and snowmobiling take over the drainages, and downhill enthusiasts either find their lines in the backcountry of Teton Pass or inbounds at Grand Targhee Resort.
Whether you’re looking for fishing and boating or upland bird hunting, there are endless trails to blaze as you plan your trip in one of the most remarkable corners of the Yellowstone Teton Territory and Idaho. Access to year round live water is not just exciting for anglers but for the wildlife. Known as a haven for moose, the valley’s wetlands attract an annual population of sandhill cranes and trumpeter swans, as well a number of other migrating passerine birds en route to Canada and Alaska.
Recognized by National Geographic as one of the best places to live, Teton Valley champions community over crowds. About 15 miles wide and twice as long, Teton Valley is home to nearly 15,000 people, just two stop lights, arguably the world’s best huckleberry milkshakes, “The West Side” (as its neighboring community of Jackson, WY refers to its Idaho counterpart of the Tetons) has a vibrant corner on nearly every block of its three main towns of Tetonia, Driggs and Victor that showcase local artists and farms. The growing restaurant scene is matched with local libations: with multiple microbreweries, mead, spirits and cider.
