Island Park Historical Society
ABOUT
The Island Park Historical Society is a volunteer 501(c)(3) dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Island Park and the Fremont County high country. From homesteaders, ranching families, and logging camps to the railroad era and “The Longest Main Street in America,” we collect photographs, artifacts, and oral histories so these stories stay alive. Our museum and office, beside the Island Park EMS building, hosts exhibits, research, and community programs for residents and visitors.
HIGHLIGHTS
We hosts exhibits, research, and community programs for residents and visitors. We do tours of the area and field trips to historical locations.
