ABOUT

Tex Creek Wildlife Management Area is a 35,218-acre wildlife area in Bonneville County, about 15 miles east of Idaho Falls. Managed by Idaho Fish and Game, the area provides important winter habitat for mule deer, elk, and moose while supporting a wide variety of wildlife year-round. Its diverse landscape includes sagebrush steppe, aspen forests, grasslands, woodlands, and cultivated areas. Visitors can enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, birding, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing throughout the area.
